The free personal finance tracker that actually adds up
FinTrack keeps a proper ledger of your bank accounts, cash, cards and investments. Balances are derived from your transactions rather than stored and patched, so what you see is always what your history actually says.

Everything you need to track your money
Every account in one place
Bank accounts, cash, credit cards and investments in a single net-worth view. Balances are calculated from your transactions, so they always reconcile.
Monthly budgets that carry over
Set a limit per category. Unspent budget rolls forward, and one overspent month never poisons the next one.
Import bank statements by CSV
Bring in a bank CSV with a full preview before anything is saved. Re-importing the same file is safe — duplicates are skipped, not doubled.
See where the money goes
Spending by category, cashflow across twelve months, and automatic detection of the subscriptions quietly renewing each month.
How FinTrack works
- 1
Add your accounts
Enter each account and its opening balance — current, savings, cash, credit card, investment. No bank login and no third-party aggregator involved.
- 2
Bring in your transactions
Upload a bank statement CSV or record income and expenses by hand. Every entry is categorised, so the analytics have something to work with from day one.
- 3
Set budgets and watch the trend
Give each category a monthly limit, then use the dashboard to see net worth, cashflow and category spending move month over month.
Frequently asked questions
Is FinTrack free?
Yes. Creating an account and tracking your accounts, transactions, budgets and analytics is free — there is no card to enter and no trial that expires.
Does FinTrack connect to my bank?
No. FinTrack never asks for your bank credentials and uses no aggregator. You import a statement CSV or add transactions yourself, which means there is no banking login to leak.
What happens if I import the same statement twice?
Nothing breaks. The importer shows a preview before saving and skips rows it has already seen, so a re-import does not double your spending.
Why do my balances always match my transactions?
Because balances are derived, not stored. FinTrack keeps a proper ledger and recomputes each balance from its transaction history instead of patching a running total, so a corrected entry corrects everything downstream.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Your transactions can be exported to CSV at any time, and you can delete your account and its data from settings.
Is FinTrack financial advice?
No. FinTrack is a bookkeeping tool. Every figure it shows is derived from what you enter, and none of it is financial, tax or investment advice.
